Safe House

End Goal: Rescuing and Empowering Lives

At Cornerstone Trust, our ultimate goal is to safeguard children and women from the dark realities of sex trade and provide them with the opportunity to flourish outside the confines of exploitation and abuse. We aspire to break the cycle of generational trafficking by offering holistic support that encompasses emotional healing, education, vocational training, and community reintegration.

The Journey to Blessings: A Multi-faceted Approach

Our approach involves a multi-faceted strategy aimed at transforming the lives of survivors step by step. Firstly, we prioritize relationship building for emotional healing, creating a community that fosters peace, unity, and mutual support. Through this foundation, women are empowered to depend on each other for collective growth, fostering resilience against the traumas of their past.

Secondly, we address health interventions and sensitisation, raising awareness and providing essential medical care for both women and children. A feeding program is implemented to combat malnutrition, ensuring their physical well-being. Simultaneously, we break the cycle of poverty and trafficking by focusing on children's education, encouraging formal education to provide them with the tools to build a brighter future.

Vocational guidance and training form the third pillar of our approach. By equipping survivors with practical skills for self-sustainability, we instill confidence and empower them to break free  from the chains of exploitation. Finally, our commitment extends to family network reintegration, ensuring the safe return of women into society while simultaneously reducing school dropout rates and supporting youth in career development.

Multiplying Blessings: Scaling Cornerstone's Impact

We aim to multiply the success of Cornerstone settings. By expanding our reach and establishing additional beacon centers where we can provide refuge and support for a greater number of beneficiaries. These structures will serve as havens in the middle of vulnerable communities for emotional healing, education, vocational training, and community-building, creating a network of hope that extends beyond Turbhe.

Through this comprehensive approach, we envision a future where survivors not only escape the horrors of the red-light district but also find the blessings of a renewed life. Our commitment is to break the chains of exploitation, one life at a time, and to build structures that ensure the safety and flourishing of those who want to leave the life of misery behind. Together, we strive for a society where the cycle of trafficking is broken, and every individual is given the opportunity to thrive and contribute positively to their community.

Safe House

To fortify our commitment to the well-being of rescued children and women, Cornerstone Trust envisions the establishment of a dedicated safe house outside the vulnerable communities. This safe haven will serve as a secure space where survivors can find refuge, healing, and empowerment. Within its walls, we will implement specialized programs to address the unique needs of both children and women, focusing on comprehensive training and rehabilitation. The safe house will be a sanctuary where survivors can undergo vocational training, receive personalized counseling, and access educational resources in a nurturing environment without any outside pressure.

By providing a structured and supportive setting, we aim to not only ensure the safety of those under our care but also to facilitate their holistic recovery, equipping them with the tools  necessary to reintegrate into society as confident, skilled, and empowered individuals. This safe house initiative is a crucial step in our mission to break the cycle of exploitation and create a lasting impact on the lives of those who have endured the harsh realities of red-light districts.
